Floyd booked May 5th ahead of time so that he can buy some time with the Legal system.. and guess what? it worked!!! Floyd knew very well that Top Rank already had other plans with Manny Pacquiao and actually waited for Bob Arum to fly to the Philippines to call out Manny Pacquiao... Why??? It's because Floyd saw this as a perfect opportunity to make Top Rank and Team Pacquiao look like they are the ones Ducking him, when in fact he know that Mega fights like this takes some time to negotiate and iron out.
