Jordan Clarkson and Excel Sports Management parted ways


Excel Sports Management and Jordan Clarkson of the Los Angeles Lakers parted ways last month. The Lakers rookie guard felt frustrated with the agency’s communication and conflicting information about marketing opportunities, according to a league source familiar with his thinking.

The Lakers selected Clarkson with the 46th pick in the NBA Draft. But he landed on the NBA’s All-Rookie first team.

Clarkson averaged 15.8 points on 45.8 percent shooting, five assists and 4.2 rebounds in 32.1 minutes through 38 games as a starter.

While Excel Sports Management represents numerous NBA clients, including Los Angeles Clippers forwards Blake Griffin and Cleveland Cavaliers forward Kevin Love.

  The upcoming MMA Festival, organized by Kombat Sports Kalayaan (KSK) and set to take place on April 28 in Poblacion, Makati City, promises to be the largest event of its kind. Philippines to Host SEA Trail Running Cup, Elevates Bid to Become Asian Trail Running Destination

  The Philippines is gearing up to welcome Southeast Asia's trail running elites as it prepares to host the prestigious Southeast Asian Trail Running Cup in the locale of Bontoc, Mountain Province, from June 19-23, 2024. Tin Ferrera, secretary-general of Philtra and Head for the Southeast Asian Trail Running Confederation, expressed her excitement about bringing the biennial competition to the country.  "We, as Philtra, and our athletes have joined the World Mountain Trail Running Championships and other big events outside the region and across Asia and we believe it’s time we show what we have.
