Muggsy Bogues The Shortest NBA Player that Made Big Impact

Muggsy Bogues is a Legend!

The year was 1987, the shortest man to ever play in the NBA was drafted 12th overall by the Washington Bullets.

Muggsy Bogues, now at 52 years old, grew up in a tough neighborhood of Lafayette Court in Baltimore. He learned that basketball was a way to escape the trouble that was all around him. He was once an inspiration to many basketball players and he left a legacy for smaller guys in the NBA.

He spent 14 years as a player in the NBA but his most successful years were when he was playing alongside Larry Johnson and Alonzo Morning in Charlotte. In the 1993-94 season, this little man averaged double-double numbers with 10 points and 10 assists and he has accomplished the task in the land of the giants.

Today, I just want to give tribute to Muggsy Bogues!
