Mexican Hector Garcia arrives in Manila Ahead of Title fight vs Joe Noynay

Mexican challenger Hector Garcia and his team have arrived in Manila Monday afternoon five days before his title shot against defending WBO Youth Super featherweight champion Filipino Joe Noynay.

Hector Garcia and Joe Noynay met each other for the first time ahead of their title bout that will be held at Joe Noynay's hometown at Don Celestino Martinez Sr. Sports and Cultural Complex in Bogo City, Cebu.

"Ang pag hahanda ko sa laban na ito ay todo insayo,. Yan lang talaga ang pinaka importante sa lahat, yung insayo, at pinag handaan ko rin yung stamina ko para sa matagalang laban,  matibay ka parin sa ibabaw ng ring" said Noynay who is also the WBC Asian Boxing Council (ABCO) Silver Super featherweight champion.

"Alam ko malalakas yung mga mexicano,  at yan ang pinag handaan ko ngayon.."  added Noynay.

Hector Garcia (12-6-2,7) will fight on the foreign soil for the first time since all of his 20 fights were held in his home turf of Tijuana , Baja California, Mexico.

Joe Noynay (13-2-1,4) originally from Bogo who is now residing in Parañaque City has promised that he will give his best to win and defend his title for his countrymen as well as for his people in Bogo.
