Academy Fighting Championship

Academy Fighting Championship 

is the premier grassroots program for mixed martial arts in the Philippines. It aims to provide young and hungry mixed martial arts fighters the opportunity to advance to the professional league. AFC is the amateur league partner of Universal Reality Combat Championship (URCC).

AFC was founded in 2011 by former MMA fighters Coach Ronald Joseph Catunao and Coach Aaron Jae Catunao. It is currently the world's biggest amateur mixed martial arts network, with over 40 local and 10 foreign participating teams. It is also the world's most active amateur MMA league, organizing one to two events per month.
