It's official: Collins will coach Sixers

GM Ed Stefanski announced Friday that the Philadelphia Sixers have officially hired Doug Collins as head coach.

"We are excited to hire a head coach with the level of experience, knowledge and passion for the game that Doug Collins has," said Stefanski. It's too early to say what Collins' hiring means for guys like Andre Iguodala and Lou Williams, and we'll have to see who they take with the No. 2 pick in the draft.
