Will we ever see a UFC tournament in the Empire State?

This question remains to be unanswered as MMA continues to fight to legalize Mixed Martial Arts in New York.The local officials are still divided as to whether to legalize it or not.

The Coalition to legalize Mixed Martial Arts in New York rallied last Feb 8 to educate the public on the sport. The rally was held on Sheldon Silver's office in Lower Manhattan. Veteran fighters Frank Shamrock and Tara LaRosa, as well as Strikeforce heavyweight champion Alistair Overeem was there.
