With the pending departure of Mark Barroca, Marcio Lassiter, Mac Baracael, Chris Lutz, Dylan Ababou and Jason Ballesteros the Smart Gilas National Team tapped 2 new members from the Talk and Text Roster to boost up the team. Larry Fonacier and Ryan Reyes will suit up and play for the Smart Gilas team in the upcoming invitational tournament in the Middle East. Chris Tiu and JV Casio will definitely not play as they are still recovering from injury. It a good think that Smart Gilas and a couple of PBA teams are owned by the same person who finance the Smart Gilas.

The card, at the ProBox TV Events Center in Plant City, Florida, is led by two featherweights attempting to climb the rankings Angelo Leo (23-1, 11 KOs), who trains out of Las Vegas, Nevada, made weight at 125.8 lbs.
