We thought Steve Kerr would end up coaching the Knicks because of Phil jackson but apparently he is not, so what is the reason why Steve Kerr chose the Golden State Warriors against the New York Knicks? It simple, because money speaks!

Steve Kerr has reportedly chosen the Golden State Warriors over the New York Knicks for his first head coaching job. Kerr, who replaces recently fired Mark Jackson, will sign a deal worth 5 years, $25 million.

Warriors owner Joe Lacob, via Marc J. Spears:
“We love Kerr. Incredibly prepared. We got him because of our players. The Golden State Warriors’ future is bright,” Joe Lacob says in text.

The card, at the ProBox TV Events Center in Plant City, Florida, is led by two featherweights attempting to climb the rankings Angelo Leo (23-1, 11 KOs), who trains out of Las Vegas, Nevada, made weight at 125.8 lbs. His opponent, Eduardo Baez (23-5-2, 9 KOs), came in slightly lighter at 125.4 lbs. They will contest a 10-round main event. Leo is a former WBO super-bantamweight champion.
