The Los Angeles Lakers did not get what they initially wished, Carmelo Anthony and LeBron James both went their different ways and Los Angeles was left with no other choice but to get the next best thing available.
Jeremy Lin may not be as good as the two players but he definitely still got the star power to help the Lakers gain more viewership, especially with the Asian fans.
