Honestly, I just saw a post on Facebook that this guy is included on the Philippines National pool that is headed for the Olympic qualifier tournament.

Who is Matthew Wright? Could he be added in the Gilas line up?


Filipino-Canadian and former Philippine Under-18 cager Matthew Wright, according to the photo above is being considered as a part of the Philippine National team that is bound for the Olympic qualifier.  The 25 years old, 6'4 shooting guard is currently playing for the Malaysia KL Dragons squad in the ABL.  His inclusion on the list can solidify the shooting guard spot and will also give the Gilas squad a much-needed shooting from the outside.
