Temple suffered a 24-13 setback in college football on Saturday, losing to Houston at Houston in the American Athletic Conference championship game.


Houston (12-1) is now probably headed to either the Peach Bowl or the Fiesta Bowl.

Temple (10-3), meanwhile, will wait until the college football bowl selection show this Sunday to find out where they will play in the postseason.

 Houston was led by Greg Ward, Jr. Saturday as he ran for 148 yards.
