Trinity cager Miguel "Pretty Boy" Villasis takes game to greater heights
From being a Letran Squire last year to testing the cudgels of Trinity
University of Asia this year, Miguel Villasis has become a matured playmaker for
his new team and campus.
Born Miguel Leonido Villasis on March 10, 1996 in Manila
to Mr. Andrew Villasis and Ms. Ginalyn Villasis, the 5-foot-8 cager from
Trinity University of Asia is currently a freshman student and plays the point
guard/shooting guard positions. He wears jersey #7 because of his idol Terrence
Bill Romeo.
He scored his game high 14 points in the NCAA against
San Beda. His favorite shot is step back three points. His favorite cagers
include Stephen Curry and Terrence Romeo. His basketball achievements include
being a member of the Mythical five and championship trophy. Miguel’s goal next
season is a champion trophy and for their team chemistry to be better.
The young cager from Trinity University believes that he can make adjustments
for the benefit of the team. “My ambition in life is to be successful in
everything I do” quipped the boy-next-door cager.
