Interview with SMB Gabby Espinas: We won game 4 because of Coach, We believe we can win the Championship without Fajardo

Unheralded hero of game 4, Gabby Espinas did more than his role last game producing much-needed points during crunch time and defending the big guys of Alaska.

I had a quick chat with Gabby before the game to talk a little bit about his last game performance and plans for the next game.

Pow:  Gabby, you did really great last game, what was your motivation?

Gabby Espinas:  SMB swept Alaska last time and we don't really want that to happen to us. Aside from pride, we were doing it for our coach.

Pow: Will JunMar Fajardo play on game 5?

Gabby Espinas: I really don't know, what I can tell you is that he was already practicing with us. I think he can play but it's ultimately the coaches decision

Pow:  What will you do to stop Vic Manuel?

Gabby Espinas: I know that Vic is a tough opponent, I will do the same thing as I was doing. I will put my body on the line and try my best. Match up wise we are undersized and Yancy is the only big guy that we have.

Pow:  What is the plan for game 5 and do you think you can still win the championship?

Gabby Espinas: Our plan is just to duplicate what we did last game. Our mindset now is to win each game one by one. Now we know we can beat Alaska. We have renewed hope that we can win the championship without Fajardo.
