Temple just opened American Conference play in men's basketball recently
and are now 7-6 overall and 2-1 in conference action.
The Owls split their first two conference games, beating Cincinnati 77-70
and losing to Houston 77-50 before upsetting Connecticut 55-53 on Tuesday.
In the win over Cincinnati Daniel Dingle and Devin Coleman led the way with 14 points each as the Owls had just eight turnovers.  In the loss to Houston the Owls let the game get away in the final six minutes of the first half and trailed 40-21 at halftime.  They shot an abysmal 0-12 from three-point range in the opening 20 minutes.  They defeated a 10-3 Connecticut team on Tuesday.
