2016 Your Ain't Good Awards! - Post Comm. Cup

For every Yin, there is a Yang, for every White American, there is a Black American, for every Mythical Teams, there are five players who played really bad. This is life, for every good thing, there is a bad thing.

Just like in a basketball league, like the PBA, there are players who need to be recognize because of their bad performances, not to shame them but to challenge them to take their name out of the award in the next conference.

Basically, the award's name should be enough to explain each award.

You Ain't Kobe - JC Intal

A small improvement from Reil Cervantes has pushed him out of the award and handed it to JC Intal. The Rocket shot 37.4% in the field and 27.1% from beyond the arc. Intal was never an efficient scorer but this kind of numbers are always unacceptable for a so-called scorer.

You Ain't Worth it - Joe Devance

There are other solid candidates for this plum like Mac Baracael but Joe Devance continue to be the one that make me wonder if Ginebra is already regretting trading for him. One of the guy that they gave for him, Dorian Pena, is badly needed now with the injury of Greg Slaughter. 6.1 points, 2.7 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 38.4% FG, 27.1% 3FG will not cut it.

The Bust - Moala Tautuaa

The sooner you are called in the draft, the higher will be the expectations about you. And last year, Moala Tautuaa brought the most hype and expectation to the league. So, don't you dare ask me if his 10.0 points, 4.2 rebounds and 1.3 assists is enough for him to warrant his top selection.

Aren't You Tall? - Japeth Aguilar

Without Greg Slaughter, Ginebra should really worry about the rebounding department because Japeth's number is ludicrous! At 6'9 and with an out-of-this-world athleticism, Japeth only posted 7.2 rebounds per game in the first two conferences and only 8.42 if you convert it to 36 minutes of play.

Why are you playing that much? - Mark Caguioa

A fellow Ginebra player will unseat Ellis from this award. Mark Caguioa was  the consistent starting shooting guard of Ginebra, unfortunately his numbers was also consistently bad. He averaged 7.7 points, 3.4 rebounds and 12.5% 3FG. His Offensive Rating is only 81.4 and his Player Efficiency Rating is 8.4 below from the average.
