Amir Khan passes on Olympics

Earlier this month  former unified WBA (Super) and IBF light-welterweight champion Amir Iqbal Khan is willing to represent Pakistan in Rio Olympcis but it turns out that Khan is won't be ready for qualifier which will be held in Velenzuela next month.

Khan who won silver at the 2004 Athens Olympcis in lightweight division and became Britain's youngest medalist at the age of 17 is still not yet ready for a qualifier because he is still recovering from his last fight's brutal 6th round Knock out at the hand of Mexican boxing super star Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez and will still find time to recover and back inside the ring.
