Cleveland Cavaliers Force Game 7, Put Warriors in a Do or Die Situation at Oracle

(Artwork By Sean Curate)

LeBron James did all the scrubs on the floor to keep the Cavaliers' dream alive, extending the series to Game 7 with a tight 3-3 standing as they came back from a 3-1 hole against the Warriors.

The Cavaliers went to a good start with 6-0 forcing the Warriors to call for a timeout. But it did not falter the Cavaliers' momentum as they continued to cruise on offense blowing the Warriors out on scoring until they led by 20 with a 31-11. It was the lowest scoring in an opening quarter for the Warriors since the 2015-2016 season started.

Drastic Changes were made in the second half. Richard Jefferson has turned to be an important role player for the Cavs, making most of his contributions on the floor. It was also a rare scene for Tyronn Lue to enter Mo Williams on the court, especially in the midst of playing a Finals game. Williams also contributed with 4 points in just 6 minutes of action.

The Warriors knocked on the door of the Cavs as they came back with a spark from Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson. But it wasn't enough, because LeBron James was overpowering in the fourth quarter, finishing at the end with a shy triple-double of 41 points, 8 rebounds, 11 assists and making his presence felt on the defensive end with four steals and three blocks.

Game 7 is scheduled on Sunday at Oracle Arena.
