Gilas Pilipinas to test arsenal against Turkey for their first tune-up match abroad

Gilas Pilipinas’ training camp in Greece has wrapped-up and they are now in Istambul, Turkey for their tune-up game against the Turkey National Basketball team on June 21. The match-up with the Turkey National will be their first tune-up abroad. From Istambul, Gilas will fly to Bologna, Italy to participate in a four-nation pocket tournament featuring Canada, China and host Italy from June 25-26 to complete their jampacked Euro training.

The team will be back here in Manila at the end of June and will face Turkey again on July 1 at Mall of Asia Arena in their last tune-up match before the OQT which starts July 6. Gilas Pilipinas targets to book an elusive ticket to the 2016 Rio Olympics. 

Another training camp in the books. There's always a special sense of accomplishment and pride every time you go through this kind of grind for the country.
