Filipino based Queenslander Jack "Assassin" Asis will defend his IBO Super featherweight world title against South African Malcolm "Stone" Klassen in Johannesburg on the 29th of July.
Asis, who is unbeaten in over five years and 15 fights, now holds the IBO world junior lightweight title is coming off an domanative Unanimous Decision victory over Waylon Law last May 13th where he also won the Brayd Smith World United Championship belt. Asis captured the IBO strap last April 2015 when he stopped Kye McKenzie in 8th round.
Klassen the reigning WBA Inter-Continental super featherweight title and International Boxing Organization Inter-Continental super featherweight title. He has 32 wins 17 by KO and 6 losses and two draws, Klassen is also a former IBF World champion and defended it twice before losing to Robert Guerrero via UD in 2009.
