26 year-old Joe Smith Jr of Long Land New York made a statement using National TV on PBC on NBC to announce his name as a new big fish in lightheavyweight division. He took away the WBC International light heavyweight title at the hand of former holder and well known as a tough boxer who fought to a distance and able to dropped WBC lightheavyweight world champ Adonis Stevenson.
He also scored a big upset against Julio Cesar Chavez Jr on April 2015.
In co main event Rau'shee Warren a three-time US Olympian avenges his lone defeat against Juan Carlos Payano of Dominican Republic. He took away Payano's undefeated record and IBO and WBA Bantamweight titles with a Majority Decision win. Scores were 114-114, 115-113, 115-113.
