Ph's no.1 female boxer gets another title crack!

      Today's no.1 Filipina boxer Gretchen Abaniel (16-8,6) will battle for the vacant (WIBA)Women's International Boxing Association World minumumweight title against undefeated female boxer from Thailand Petcharas Superchamp (6-0,1) on July 2nd in New South wales Australia.

30 year-old Abaniel is the reigning Unified Women's International Boxing Association World minimumweight title and Global Boxing Union Female World minimumweight champion. She won the titles way back Nov 2015 in Gemany against previously unbeaten female German Oezlem Sahin via Split Decision. Abaniel will try to reclaim the WIBA title, she first won it last 2014 with a 9th round TKO victory against Nongnun Mor Krungthepthonburi of Thailand.

Petcharas Superchamp of Thailand is undefeated female boxer from Thailand but she is not as impressive compare to Abaniel, Petcharas Superchamp's 5 out of 6 opponents were all debutant.
