Shooters from Mindanao competing again after Election Gun Ban

Several shooters from Mindanao gathered for the 2nd City Director PSSUPT Maximo C Layugan Cup, a Level 1 PSMOC sanctioned match held at GSCPO firing range at Camp Fermin Lira Jr., General Santos City in the 11th day of June.

The said event was the first sanctioned match in Region 12 since the election gun ban emposed by the government. Most of the shooters were mostly from the policemen and business-affiliated personalities.

Practical Shooting is a set of shooting sports where the competitors are trying to unite the three principles of precision, power and speed, by using a firearm of a certain minimum power (caliber) to score as many points as possible during the shortest amount of time (or sometimes within a set maximum time).
