The Puangluang Sor Singyu-Marlon Tapales WBO world bantamweight championship has been moved to July 22 from June 17 in Thailand.
Onesongchai Promotion (Sorsingyu's promoter) have suffered trouble getting the sponsors for the fight. Tapales' manager sees no problem for moving the fight date and he also admitted that Marlon Tapales is in great shape and doing good in training. Tapales with a record of 28 wins- 2 defeats 11 KO's earns title shot after his impressive 2nd round Knock Out victory over previously unbeaten Japanese Shoshei Omori.
Sor Singyu of Thailand a veteran of 55 fights will defend his World title for the third time against Tapales. He first claim World title way back 2012 by defeating AJ Banal but lost the title to Paulus Ambunda on his first title defense. Sor Singyu reclaim the title last August 2015 by knocking out Japanese Ryo Akaho.
