Abel Sanchez the trainer of WBA/WBC/IBF/IBO Middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin wants Unified WBO-WBC lightwelterweight champion Terrence Crawford to challenge the reigning WBC Welterweight champ Danny "Swift" Garcia not Manny Pacquiao.
"Id rather see Terrence Crawford vs Danny Garcia. It's two fresh guys, two talented guys. Two guys who can crack and they would bring out the best in each other" Sanchez said.
"Pacquiao is bigger fight. I don't think its neccessarily a tougher fight. Manny has taken a lot of time off. He won't be fresh as Danny Garcia, because Danny is younger and it's a better fight" he added.
Danny Garcia is expected to defend his title against Andre Berto later this year while Crawford is one of the frontrunners with Keith Thurman and Jessie Vargas to fight Manny Pacquiao in his ring return on Nov.5.
