Batum Re-Signs with Hornets on a Huge Five-Year Deal

Nicolas Batum has agreed to a five-year, $120 million deal with the Charlotte Hornets.

The 27 year old small forward was drawing interest from multiple teams, including the Los Angeles Lakers, Dallas Mavericks and Golden State Warriors but the 25th overall pick of the 2008 NBA draft chooses to sign with thd Hornets.

Batum has averaged 14.9 points, 6.1 rebounds and 5.8 assists in 35 minutes per game on his first season with the Hornets.
