Grizzlies Ink Parsons to Four-Year Deal

Chandler Parsons has agreed to a four-year, $94 million deal with the Memphis Grizzlies. The move will try to convince their free agent point guard Mike Conley to stay which eventually happened after Conley and the Grizzlies agreed to a five-year, $153 million deal, making him the highest paid player in NBA history.

Parsons has averaged 13.7 points, 4.7 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game last season with the Dallas Mavericks. The Mavericks choose not to re-sign Parsons after his two-year stint in Dallas. Parsons health is a big concern for the teams who will sign him. He has never completed a full regular season in his entire NBA career, missing a total of 70 regular games and only appeared in one playoff game for the Mavericks.

The Grizzlies finally found a starting small forward for them after they traded Jeff Green to the Clippers in the trade deadline last season.
