Jonathan Guzman wins war against Shingo Wake to claim IBF title!
Jonathan Guzman of Dominican Republic continues his knockout winning streak when he stopped determined Shingo Wake of Japan in 11th round to claim the previously vacant IBF Superbantamweight world title at Edion Arena in Osaka Japan.
Jonathan Guzman now has a monster unblemished record of 22 wins all via stoppages. He scored 2 knockdowns in 2nd round, one each in 3rd and 5th round after stopping the Japanese fighter who also gave his all effort but the stronger Guzman came out to finish the war.
Wake also landed hard shots in second half of the fight that able to hurt Guzman but he was caught and stopped when he dicided to exchange bombs with Guzman.
In the main event Japanese Kazuto Ioka reatains his WBA "Regular" flyweight world title by stopping Keyvin Lara of Nicaragua in 11th round. The WBA has ordered Ioka to negotiate fight with WBA "Super" World flweight title holder Juan Francisco Estrada next
