Luol Deng Heads to Lakers on a Four-Year Deal
Luol Deng heads to Los Angeles Lakers on a four-year, $72 million deal. Deng is the second signing of the Lakers this off season signing Timofey Mozgov to a four-year. $64 million contract.
Deng has averaged 12.3 points, 6.0 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1 steal per game last year with the Miami Heat. He is expected to provide veteran leadership to the young Lakers team and mentor the recently drafted second overall pick Brandon Ingram.
Deng is the second Heat player to leave the Miami this off season, after Joe Johnson goes to Utah Jazz on a two-year, $22 million deal.
