Never too late for Portugal to win the UEFA Euro 2016,

It was never too late for Portugal to win the UEFA Euro 2016, even without Cristiano Ronaldo.
Portugal finally have a taste of victory after stunning France at extra time, 1-0, with Eder scoring at the 109th minute to upset the league front runner and this year's Euroleague host
It was a shocking moment for both nations as everyone expected France to win it all at the Stade de France in Saint-Denis. Their loss to Portugal was their only defeat in the whole league, what made it worse was there was no Cristiano Ronaldo in the field.
Team captain Ronaldo, 31, left the field at the 25th minute of the first half after a knee collision with Dmitri Payet at the first ninth minute and replaced by Ricardo Quaresma. He was able to endure the pain right after he was given treatment but failed to stay longer until he sat in the middle of the field, giving the right to lead the team to Nani.
This was their first ever Euroleague championship, which almost became the underdog of the tournament, who started 3-3 in the knockout round, while France were undefeated since the first day of the league.
