New York, Chicago, New Orleans or Las Vegas to Host NBA All-Star 2017
The NBA is moving the 2017 All-Star to one of these cities the league will choose: New Orleans, Chicago, New York and Las Vegas.
New Orleans still edge out of the four. The 2008 and 2014 All-Star game was held there already.
The 2007 NBA All-Star Game was played on February 18, 2007 at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas's Thomas and Mack Center.
In Chicago, the last NBA All-Star Game hosted was in 1988, when Michael Jordan, won both the slam-dunk competition and the game's MVP honors.
Carmelo Anthony played his eighth All-Star Game at Madison Square Garden when New York hosted the NBA All-Star Game in 2015.
NBA is hoping to reschedule the ASG for Charlotte in 2019.
The league pulled the event out of Charlotte due to their objection to the state's House Bill 2, which limits anti-discrimination protections for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people in the state.
