No.1 pound for pound King in the world and the WBC Flyweight world champion Nicaraguan Roman "Chocolatito" Gonzalez (45-0,28) will move up in Super flyweight division to challenge the reigning WBC Superflyweight world champion Carlos "Principe" Cuadras(35-0-1,27) of Mexico on September 10 in at Forum in Los Angeles.
"Roman Gonzalez is a great champion I have a lot of respect for him. I will prepare myself to be in the best condition to my career to defend my WBC belt" said Cuadras to Boxingscene.
Chocolatito Gonzalez will try to get his 4th world title in four different weight classes when he challenge the Mexican champion, Chocolatito's most recent victory was a 12-round unanimous decision win over talented Puerto Rican Mcwilliams Arroyo last April 23 in the same venue at Forum in L.A.
Carlos Cuadras is coming off 8th round Technical KO against tough Filipino Richie Mepranum. The Gonzalez-Cuadras mega showdown fight will be televised live on HBO World Championship boxing at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT
