Upset minded Filipino Jhon Rey Lausa almost score an upset victory earlier against unbeaten world rated Tassana Sanpattan a.k.a Petch CP Freshmart earlier today in Thailand.
In the second round both fighters traded knockdowns. The Thai changed his style after he was down and used his long jab though it was effective throughout the fight though Lausa had his moments. At the end of the fight Sanpattan was rewarded unanimous decision win to retain his WBC Youth bantamweight title. The scores were 97-93 twice and 97-94.
Lausa entered the fight with 6 fights winning strict though his record is not a good one. He dropped to 13 wins 6 by the way of KO 3Draws and 10 loses while Sanpattan goes to 37 wins with 23 KOs and no defeat.
The Thai is looking forward to get the winner of Shinsuke Yamanaka - Anselmo Moreno WBC World Bantamweight championship rematch on September 19 in Osaka Japan.
