Klassen wins IBO title; Gemino KO'd Toto Helebe

                              

South African Malcolm Klassen became a world champion once again when he beat Australia based-Filipino to claim the IBO Superfeatherweight world title on a one sided unanimous decision victory at his hometown the Emerald Casino in Vanderbijlpark, Gauteng, on Friday night.

Klassen outclassed Asis in the first half of the fight. He used his left jab to make distance over Asis.
However the South African began to tire in the last four rounds as he let the 33-year-old Assis back into the fight. Klassen improved his record to 33-6-2; 17 and Assis saw his record drop to 35-19-6; 18.

In the co-main event Filipino Jhon Gemino claim the WBA International bantamweight title with a 9th round knockout win over S.African Toto Helebe.
