August 6, 2016 Saturday night, the UFC Fight Night 92 will be held at Vivint Smart Home Arena in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Featherweights Yair Rodriguez (No. 13) vs Alex Caceres will headline the event. Another featherweights will be in the co-main event as Dennis Bermudez (No. 8) takes on Rony Jason.
Yair Rodriguez remains undefeated in the UFC with a 4-0 record (7-1 overall). He made his debut in 2014 at UFC 180: Werdum vs Hunt and won The Ultimate Fighter: Latin America tournament. One of the most impressive fights for yours truly by this featherweight prospect was against Andre Fili at UFC 197: Jones vs Saint Preux. A high-flying left kick knocked out his opponent in the second round. Will Alex Caceres be able to extend his two win streak? Bruce Leeroy replaced BJ Penn at UFC 199: Rockhold vs. Bisping 2 due to Anti-Doping Violation and defeated Cole Miller. He also defeated Masio Fullen at UFC on Fox 18: Johnson vs. Bader.
Another product of The Ultimate Fighter Dennis Bermudez will again try to climb up the ladder at 145. Diego Brandao, Max Holloway and Clay Guida all lost to him. The Manace also holds the world record in Guinness for the fastest to drink one liter of lemon juice using a straw (Guinness Book Of World Record). He will face the winner of The Ultimate Fighter Brazil 3 Finale in 2014, Rony Jason.
The Preliminary card look fairly good too as they feature the No. 5 Cub Swanson vs No. 14 Tatsuya Kawajiri.
