Road Warriors overcame a 21-point deficit to rout the Elasto Painters and pace themselves better in a playoffs berth race.
ROS relied to guards Jericho Cruz, Paul Lee and Jeff Chan early at the 1st half - all breaking into double digit scoring before the half. The Elasto Painters lead rose to the height of 21 points only a few sequences after a flagrant foul penalty 1 was drawn by Paul Lee upon Emman Monfort, 48-27.
NLEX rookie gunner Garvo Lañete spearheaded a late run in the 2nd where Lañete buried 3 treys cutting the lead to 10.
After finally tasting the lead courtesy of a 3-point make from former Miami Heat shooting guard Henry Walker, NLEX never gazed back.
Former Gilas cadet, Garvo Lañete scores 12 of his 21 pts in the 4th including back-to-back three point conversions to complete a 33 point turnaround, 111-99.
Best Player of the Game: Garvo Lañete with 6 three point makes.
