Liverpool 2-1 West Bromwich Albion

After a disappointing 0-0 draw from their fierce rivals Manchester United last matchday, Liverpool bounced back with an impressive win to continue the chase for the top spot of the table. Sadio Mane opened the scoring in the 20th minute after an impressive cross from Roberto Firmino. Philippe Coutinho doubled the Reds lead 15 minutes later with a great move in the box to give daylight between them and their opponents. Gareth McAuley scored in the 81st minute after the ball luckily bounced on his shoulder to keep his side in to the game. With the scoreline ended at 2-1 Liverpool failed to go on top temporarily as they end up in second place just a goal difference behind.

Leicester City 3-1 Crystal Palace

The reigning champions Leicester City followed their impressive Champions League to return to winning ways in the Premier League. In the 42nd minute Ahmed Musa scored the 1st goal after a neat play by the Leicester players near the penaly box. Shinji Okazaki follow things up in the 63rd minute to put his team 2 goals up. Christian Fuchs scored in the 80th minute after a weak clearing header by the Palace defender. Yohan Cabaye scored a consolation for him in the 85th minute to ensure that Leciester will not end the game with a clean sheet.

Arsenal 0-0 Middlesbrough

Arsenal failed to go 3 points on top after their unexpected draw to Middlesbrough. Both teams have chances to score a goal that will win it for their team, but both keepers were both in top form as they didn't let any ball go behind them. Gaston Ramirez has the best chance for Boro in the first half as his free kick was just saved by Cech as it was heading towards the top left corner. Alexis Sanchez have Arsenal's best chance on the 1st half after a free kick of his own was also saved by the keeper. Adama Traore has a chance in the 2nd half for Boro to score for his team but Cech once again saved it. Despite finishing on top of the table after last night's game, they are only 1 point ahead of Man City who will play a little later.

Bournemouth 0-0 Tottenham

It was the same result for Arsenal's North London rivals Tottenham as they also failed to go on top of the table before Man City played their game on Sunday. Bournemouth had a wonderful chance just 6 mins into the game with a great play on a corner kick, the keeper saves the ball enough for the ball to hit the crossbar instead of going into the goal. Spurs only real good chance in the game was in the 2nd half when Danny Rose's shot inside the box after a good cross and a nice dummy by Jansen to set up Rose was saved by the Bournemouth keeper.
