Tim Cone considers game 3 fatigue. " I feel like we're worn out"
San Miguel Beermen serves a disappointing loss to Ginebra as they outscored the gin kings in most part of the game.
Marcio Lassiter, explodes from the perimeter registering an almost flawless field goal percentage as he sinks jumper after jumper which dug a deep hole for Ginebra and gave them a hard time to recover.
Ginebra only scored 7 points in the 2nd quarter and missed 15 attempts in the first part if this period.
"Games 2 and 3 were fun, but tonight was absolutely not fun. They played (SMB) extremely well and they beat us up" stressed by the Ginebra head coach explaining how they got beaten in the game.
"They brought their A game and we just couldn't match up" Tim Cone said. "I feel that we're really worn out with that game 3 in the sense that the next day, our guys are still learning about this game, about this series."
San miguel forced a do or die match with Ginebra on tuesday at the Araneta Coliseum. That will be expected to be an all out performed game. "We feel fortunate that we're gonna play game 5. A 30 point loss is the same thing as a 1 point loss."
" I think I made a mistake, I tried to conserve our guys and played zone." Cone explains how he suddenly changed the defensive rotation of Ginebra at the start of the game that causes the outside shooters of San Miguel to be open wide for attempts.
"Im gonna live with it as a coach. We didn't defend well, we didn't shoot well, we didn't execute well.Chris Ross is a big impact player in this game, first in this series.
The game ended with a 29 point lead in favor of san miguel which tied the series at 2 a piece.
