Giannis Anteto...Who?! The Greek Freak is Finally Tearing the NBA




Everyone have no idea when the Milwaukee Bucks drafted 15th overall the 19 year old Greek player Giannis Antetokounmpo in the 2013 NBA Draft. No one knew what was coming for the Bucks and the NBA.

Three years later, Giannis is now showing flashes of his greatness. Giannis Antetokounmpo who is also known as "The Greek Freak" for his wide wingspan and 6-foot,11-inch height has emerged into a star that Milwaukee dreamed he'd become when they drafted him back then. He is now averaging 22.6 points, 9.1 rebounds 5.8 assists, 2.0 blocks and 2.0 steals per game. A stats only a few NBA greats have achieved. According to ESPN Stats and Info, Only Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, and Scottie Pippen have averaged at least 20 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists and 2 steals in a season.

His current stats does look good but he has not reached his full potential yet. There is still so much room in his game for him to improve. He is yet to improve his free throw percentage and three-point percentage. If the Greek freak is able to improve shooting the ball behind the arc and at the free-throw line, he can be compared to the likes of Kevin Durant who do have the similar frame like Giannis. 

 There is a lot to improve in his game but the sky is the limit for Giannis. Just like what the Bucks Head Coach Jason Kidd said, The Greek Freak is a once-in-a-generation type of talent.
