LeBron James is set to produce an HBO documentary on Muhammad Ali. According to NBA.com, the untitled documentary movie will be directed by Antoine Fuqua, the same director of Southpaw and Training Day.

Ali who died June 3, 2016 at age 74 was a big influence to LeBron James. He mentioned how important it is for him to be part of the project and noted that the story of Muhammad Ali should be told as it transcended boxing and sports in general which  paved ways for all athletes in different races to pursue their dreams.

LeBron who is currently playing another historic season in the NBA also recently pledged $2.5 million to the Ali Exhibit at the Smithsonian Institution.

Today LeBron James is producing a sports documentary but I guarantee you that someday someone will be producing his documentary as he had been making waves not only in basketball but also other sports.
