Troy Rosario and Larry Fonacier's hot hands led TNT to victory vs Alaska Aces


Troy Rosario scored 26 points and grabbed 7 rebounds while Jayson Castro and Larry Fonacier each had 16 points, and the TNT KaTropa beat the Alaska Aces 109-100 on Friday night.

TNT started the game strong as they built a lead over Alaska early in the game. Alaska tried to make a run on their own cutting the lead into two but TNT answered back. The hot hands of Rosario and the tight defense by TNT made it hard for Alaska to cut the lead in the first half. Alaska Aces trailed 54-38 at the end of the break.
 
Alaska Aces brought there physical brand of basketball. Ranidel de Ocampo had a small cut in his eyebrows while Jayson Castro was hit in the eyes which made him exit the game early. However Jayson Castro already did a damage scoring 16 points and dished out 7 assists and grabbed 2 rebounds before the injury. Castro's co-veteran, Ranidel de Ocampo, scored 10 points for the game.

TNT KaTropa is now tied 4-2 for the second spot with Blackwater.

Calvin Abueva had a losing effort of a double-double.

Abueva scored 18 points, dished out four assists, and grabbed 12 rebounds. While Vic Manuel scored 16 points.

Alaska Aces is now tied with Phoenix with a record of 3-3 in the eighth spot
