In basketball, an official or a referee is a person who has the responsibility to enforce the rules and maintain the order of the game. His job starts before the game starts and continues till the game ends. But referees commit mistakes, too. 

They're humans, they also miss things. Remember their job is to be on the court with fastest and physically toughest athletes alive running at each other at mind-blowing speeds, of course they will sometimes slip up, too. 

Let's watch some instances where the refs made the worst late game calls in the NBA.

The card, at the ProBox TV Events Center in Plant City, Florida, is led by two featherweights attempting to climb the rankings Angelo Leo (23-1, 11 KOs), who trains out of Las Vegas, Nevada, made weight at 125.8 lbs. His opponent, Eduardo Baez (23-5-2, 9 KOs), came in slightly lighter at 125.4 lbs. They will contest a 10-round main event. Leo is a former WBO super-bantamweight champion. He is riding a three-fight winning streak; his past two fights were broadcast on ProBox TV. Leo is ranked seventh by the WBA and 13th by the IBF.
