How in the World did Star Win Against ROS with 34% FG Shooting?

What a Lucky Star. With a 34% horrific shooting percentage, the Hotshots still defeated Rain or Shine to advance to the semifinals series where they will face San Miguel Beermen. 

It was a low scoring ball game as Star Hotshots managed to eliminate Rain or Shine with the score of 84-69.  It wasn't pretty but a win is a win. Star led by import Ricardo Ratcliffe who tops in 3 categories including points with 26, rebound with 24 and assists with 5. 

The game started slowly with both teams scoring under 20 in the first quarter and it continues to drag in the second quarter.   

Rain or Shine while shooting better percentage at 42% only had 64 attempts against 86 of Star Hotshots.  Rebounding and points in the paint played a big factor as Star grabbed 57 boards against 39 of Rain or Shine. 

In the second half,  Rain or shine continued to struggle and scored only 15 points in the 3rd and 17 in the last quarter. Import Crews only contributed 12 points and was on the bench most the time due to foul trouble. 

After the game, Coach Chito Victolero mentioned that he wanted to have longer preparation for San Miguel Beermen.
