World Boxing Super Series Will Feature 4 Cruiserweight World Champions

World Boxing Super Series will feature four current cruiserweight world champions including WBO champion Oleksandr Usyk (12-0, 10 KOs), of Ukraine, IBF World Champion Murat Gassiev (24-0, 17 KOs) of Russia  WBC World Champion Mairis Briedis (22-0, 18 KOs) of Latvia and the WBA champ Yunier Dorticos (21-0, 20 KOs), a Miami-based Cuban. Four other top cruiserweights are also in the line up for World Boxing Super Series Cruiserweight Tournaments. 

The top four seeds in each field selected their opponents from the unseeded fighters during the draft gala at the Grimaldi Forum in Monte Carloon. The quarter finals is scheduled in September and October specific dates and locations are yer to be announced.

No.1 seeded picks Oleksandr Usyk selected former WBO world champion Marco Huck (40-4-1, 27 KOs) of Germany. 

No. 2 Murat Gassiev will face his mandatory challenger for his IBF title , the two time world champion Krzysztof Wlodarczyk (53-3-1, 37 KOs), of Poland.

No. 3 Mairis Briedis of Latvia, selected former heavyweight contender Cuban Mike Perez  (22-2-1, 14 KOs) who is now living in  Ireland.

No. 4 Yunier Dorticos (21-0, 20 KOs), a Miami-based Cuban defector who will be making his first defense against hard hitting  Dmitry Kudryashov (21-1, 21 KOs) of Russia. 

The winner of each fight will receive Ali Trophy and the winner of the tournament will receive a big cash prize and WBC Cruiserweight Diamond belt.
