Dirk Nowitzki at 39 years old is at the tail end of his career while Kristaps Porzingis at 22 is a rising superstar. Both players are together now in Africa for an exhibition game.

Nowitzki, a 9th overall pick by the Bucks, yes, he was drafted by the Bucks then traded to Dallas on draft night for Pat Garrity. One of those defining moments when a team lets go of a superstar.  Dirk has achieved a lot of great things and has spent his entire career for a team that wanted him from the start. Yes, he is no longer a game changer in the league but he is still producing great numbers that any teams in the NBA would want .
