Isaiah Thomas Jersey Number in Cleveland, Not His First Choice?

Isaiah Thomas looks like he is settled in Cleveland after taking a photo with his new locker room showing his new jersey number.

Isaiah Thomas will wear number 3, same number when he was with the Suns 

Isaiah Thomas will be wearing a new number in Cleveland, as the number 4 Jersey is currently being used by Iman Shumpert. Iman is currently on the trading block after the rumor has come out that Cleveland is looking to acquire big man DeMarcus Cousins from New Orleans in exchange to Shumpert and the first round pick. Could he still get number 4, just in case?

In 2015, when he was traded to Boston Celtics from Phoenix, he also had to settle in with a different jersey number than what he desired. According to sources, he wanted to have number 11 jersey during that time but Evan Turner was wearing the number already.  

Today, Evan Turner is no longer with the Celtics and Kyrie who will play with Boston will get his opportunity to wear the number.  

Over the years and on four different teams, Isaiah has used the following 3 different jersey numbers:

Kings -22

Phoenix -3

Celtics -4

Cavs - 3

Now in Cleveland, he has chosen to wear number 3.
