Davao City – The finals of the PCCL – National Collegiate Championship 3x3 Mindanao leg finished in a thrilling fashion with Southern Philippines College winning over Southern City College, 46-44, at the Almendras Gym.
SPC’s Jepher John Egan carried the scoring load scoring more than half of the team’s points with 26 points to go with 5 rebounds and 2 steals. Emmanuel Akut III almost had a double-double with 12 points and 9 rebounds.
SCC balanced scoring attack was not enough to outdo Egan’s offensive barrage. Tanco had 17 points while Jayvis Tan had 13 points and 6 rebounds in the loss.
Taking the 2nd runner-up position was STI Davao while JH Ceriles State finishes rounds up the winner’s circle as the 3rd runner-up.
Other teams that participated were Agro Industrial Foundation College, Jose Maria College, Philippine Womens College and San Pedro College.
