RISING flyweight prospects are headed for a major collision as Jade Bornea and Danrick Sumabong clash in a fight card dubbed "Undefeated" slated April 28 in Glan, Sarangani Province.
The two unbeaten fighters will fight for the WBO Oriental youth superfly belt in the boxing spectacle put up by Sanman Promotions and the municipality of Glan headed by Mayor Tata Yap and Councilor Victor James Yap Jr.
Bornea of the Sanman/Amoy Boxing Gym is gunning for his 11th straight win after starting his career with 10 successive triumphs anchored on seven knockout victories.
Sumabong of Tagbaliran City, is looking to sustain is hot start. He is off to a 5-0 start with the first four wins coming by way of knockouts.
Jim Claude Mananquil, CEO of Sanman Promotions, said the card will feature action-packed duels headed by top Sanman Boxing Gym fighters.
Set to see action in the undercards are Harmonito Dela Torre (19W-1L-0D, 12KOs), Jayson Mama (9W-0L-0D, 5KOs), John Vincent Moralde (19W-1L-0D, 10KOs), Mark Bernaldez(15W-1L-0D, 10KOs) and Jake Bornea (13W-2L-0D, 7KOs).
