MANNY PACQUIAOTRAINING CAMP KICK OFF

Manny Pacquiao Begins Training Camp in Los Angeles for Anticipated Comeback Fight

LOS ANGELES, California — The sounds of anticipation echoed through Pan-Pacific Park as boxing icon Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao laced up his sneakers and hit the track Monday morning, marking the official start of his training camp for a highly anticipated return to the ring.

Pacquiao—now 45 but still radiating the energy of a champion—kicked off Day 1 of camp with his training team.

The Filipino legend’s every move was closely watched by fans, curious onlookers, and international media who flocked to the familiar park that has witnessed many of his past fight preparations.

“This is the beginning of another chapter. I’m inspired, I’m motivated, and I’m ready to show the world that I still have what it takes.” Pacquiao said.

The 8-division world champion has been away from the ring since his last professional bout in 2021, dedicating recent years to politics and public service.

But on Monday, it was all about the grind. Jogging laps, shadowboxing, and reconnecting with his routine, Pacquiao looked at home—both in the city that helped shape his global stardom and the Filipino-American community support.

The training camp will intensify in the coming weeks as Pacquiao zeroes in on what many expect to be a blockbuster bout this July.

More than just a fight, Pacquiao’s return is being framed as a mission—for legacy, for redemption, and for country.

“Laban ito para sa bayan. Para sa lahat ng naniniwala na hindi pa tapos ang laban,” he declared. ("This fight is for the nation. For everyone who believes the battle isn’t over.")

Pacquiao’s story, once again, is being written under the Los Angeles sky, where legends are made, and where one of boxing’s greatest is determined to prove that greatness never fades.
