🚨 BREAKING: The California State Athletic Commission (CSAC) has officially ruled the bout between Charly Suarez and Emanuel Navarrete as a No Contest. Following the decision, the WBO, which recently unveiled its revamped logo, has taken swift action by ordering an immediate rematch.

Pow Salud's Position:
This isn’t exactly the outcome I had hoped for—I was expecting the fight to be rightfully awarded to Charly Suarez, especially considering that, had the foul been properly seen and acknowledged during the fight, it could have resulted in a win for him.
However, I also understand the other side: declaring a winner retroactively might be unfair to Navarrete, who could have adjusted his strategy had the situation been handled in real time.
That said, I’m satisfied with the No Contest ruling. While it feels a bit like a consolation, it does acknowledge the irregularities that occurred. I’d also like to thank the WBO for acting quickly and ordering a rematch.
To all Filipino boxing fans—let’s keep calm and take this as a positive step forward. Charly now has a second chance, and with the buzz and controversy surrounding the first bout, the rematch could be even bigger. We hope Top Rank and Bob Arum make it happen soon.
Congratulations to the sport of boxing for doing what’s right.
